Triangle Lake, Oregon and Further Adventures

I am doing several sections in this blog. Our trip took us west of Eugene around the mountains and to the coast at Florence, Oregon. Randy and Lewis came along for the ride, we had a a wonderful time, Randy and Lew had their own adventures as I was off snapping away. Although this time Lewis did not appreciate the beach so much, it was clear, getting dark, windy and cold. I guess he can be forgiven.

Theses first photos are taken a bit east of Triangle Lake at a simple State owned park, only one table, it was tiny. Not the table the park.

I believe this to be a small memorial for someone who has died. You can see these frequently in the woods around our area.

This is an area just west of the lake, it is beautiful in winter and very fun in summer. I have to tell you when I was in my second youth at about 40 I was here. Locally it is called the rock slides, you can't see it here because the water was to rough for me to get where the actual slides are but it is a wonderful place to swim and go down the slides on your butt or on a tube. Lots of dangerous partying and lots of fun.

See all that water between the rocks, yah, I couldn't walk through and over them to get to the actual slides.

I hope you enjoyed this adventure as much as we did, I was exhilarated and excited by the time we headed home. Last week with the snow was great, but this week was something else altogether. Randy and I seem to keep finding more love in our life everywhere we look, we get closer and more bonded everyday. Lewis laughed and laughed when we were at the docks on the lake, so obviously happy it made gramma cry. Thank you for letting me me share with you.

  5. I love coming here and experiencing the world through your eyes. Your comments are interesting and there are funny moments. "Crazy man in the water", and "Crazy man out of the water" had me laughing! The park had a very ethereal presence and you caught the places where I am certain fairies must live. Just lovely. :)

  9. We visited Oregon about 10 years ago and really fell in love with it. My two memories are green and wet lol. I understand what you wrote about finding love in life, Phyllis and I think that also. Traveling around photographing just cannot help but allow you to see the beauty in life. Wishing you many more years of seeing the love in life

It's great that you & Randy can enjoy this time together...making memories...it's great tonic for your love too (smile) & of course, having Lewis around is an added bonus. This is what life and love are all about.

  11. Thank you Andy, we love our time together. I feel his job brings us closer rather than more distant. We talk many times in a day then when he is here on week- ends we want to be together not with other people. Love is a wonderful thing.

The only time my wife & I are apart is when I have to go to work, but she will tell you, every opportunity I get, I call her on the phone. As soon as I leave work, my goal is to get home to her. She is my happiness and my home. As long as she's ok, I'm ok.

    1. Thanks Bonnie, I am glad I could make you laugh. That guy had to be nuts, wet suit or not, the Pacific in our region is incredibly cold add that it is the middle of winter and man he has got to be nuts...it was about 35 degrees on that beach that day....
