Escape for the Kids and I (for just awhile)

These were all taken with my cell phone, some of them are blurry a bit, but all in all, I think they turned out pretty well.
The kids and I spent the morning and early afternoon with my mama at the hospital. Everyone had a pleasant visit, Tristyn was on his best behavior until nearly the end when he was ready for a nap. He fell asleep before we got out of the parking lot. Kearstyn and I drove around for awhile, not wantin to wake Tris before it was time, (he gets a little grumpy), then decided to go to Island Park and I could take pictures while Tris slept. Soon enough he was awake and we all went on an adventure in the rain, we experienced the mill race as well as the park. Every time we visit the park we find something new to investigate. We all had a great time talking to the ducklings and their parents. We came away and headed to swim lessons for them both, which went very well, then home for dinner and some serious family time at home. It was a wonderful day full of love and adventure, laughter, dancing & splashing in puddles.

So lonely in the rain...my kids the only ones willing to play on it...
