Alton Baker Park, During the Rain. (Beware graphic photo of hawk eating a bird)

I walked around Alton Baker Park today, it was pouring rain at times, thus the smudges on some of the photos. The park was flooded, but had gone down some, but was still plenty high. The water of the Willamette River was very rough, full of waves, and moving fast.  These are posted in the order of my walk, some of the same things at different angles. The last few are of the structures, bridges and such, the first 4 are from the window at the Doctor's office I was at with my mama, she thought I was nuts. I wonder why only now she thinks so...I have always been nuts.

There are a lot of photos so please take your time and enjoy.

I had had a rough week and today had been no different. Now that I am getting everything else settled, other stuff is popping up to give me a headache. Isn't that how it goes. I walked in the rain, up down and around stood and stared at the raging water and began to feel myself heal. Miraculous things happen if you let them. The hawk was the first thing I saw as I walked into the park, the cycle of life happening before my eyes. It made a difference in my perspective immediately, watching the raging waters of the river was  exciting  and exhilarating. Trying to take photos in the rain, on the bridge with traffic bouncing it was the perfect challenge. I guess you could say I had an intense therapy session today.
I hope you enjoyed your walk with me. Love to you.
