A View of My Temple

AS many of you know, I have been dealing with the illness of my four year old grandson Henry,  he recently left us and I am grieving deeply at the loss. I am grateful to have known him and grateful he is no longer suffering, this does not however lessen my own pain. I took a trip to the mountains to find a bit of peace. This is my temple and I hope I can bring you a little piece of joy by sharing some of it with you.

The first are of Cougar Reservoir, then Sahalie Falls ad Koosah Falls the trails and river  in between.

  1. It looks like such a beautiful place Jan. I can see exactly why this is your place to relax and get yourself grounded again!! There are some views to die for there, that's for sure!

  2. Thank you, for the visit and comment. I love the mountains and wilderness of Oregon, The ocean beaches and the crash of the surf is also a sanctuary for me. Nature is my saving grace, the peace and serenity I find there is unmeasurable. I would love someday to live where no one else had ever been. Let's not talk of the logistics, it is my dream, it gives me pleasure to think that someday, along the troubled road of life, I will be able to live in a calm and living breathing place with no drama and no tragedy. Just the sweet smell of honeysuckle and the sounds of birds and critters, the smell of dirt and the aroma of trees. I know I'm weird, but it is my dream.
