My Town in Color

Our community is very late getting Fall colors this year;  I must say that it has been very worth the wait. the reason it was late is because of our late in October warm spell, because of this the leaves are more vibrant than I have ever seen them here. The Combination of the sun, then the cold did something to the sugars making everything explode in color. I hadn't been out in a very long time to photograph anything, I am so glad I did yesterday. We are expecting high winds tonight and will lose a lot of what you see here. I have more I will post in a few days.

  2. Loved your photo's Jan...it is such a colourful time of year....when nature covers her canvas with so much diversity in shades and tones... I just noticed also, like you, how vibrant the colours were this year...and also like you made it out one day to take some shots before the winds came...thank you for sharing your hometown with us...Always...
