Hendrick's Bridge Wayside Park, (Faerie Land)

This is a very large post so I added a video from Youtube for your listening pleasure of what I hear while I am on my hikes and walks. I hope you enjoy the photos and sound effect.

I was seeing fairies and gnomes, tree nymphs, and water nymphs, too. I thought I heard an ogre or two, made my heart do a jump.

  4. Hello Jan.
WoW! These are fantastic! Love the sound effects too...makes me feel like I'm right there enjoying the scenery with you (smile). This is the perfect place for some serious creative writing. I like listening to the sounds of nature while I'm trying to sleep.
Thank you Jan for always entertaining us.

  7. Listened to the current and was swept away, trampled over carpet of brown and red leaves, stooped to collect small stones, gazed out through lacey tree limbs, sniffed bright daisies, handled velvet ferns and silk purple iris, sat at a picnic table and pondered enchanted Faerie Land…
Faerie Land, the place to be!

    1. Thank you Portia, I love me some nature, that is a fact. I live my life for the next minute I can be in the woods or on the beach. Well not really but pretty close sometimes.
