A Trip to Seaside Oregon

We traveled north along the Oregon coast with 3 of our grandkids...Kearstyn, Tristyn and Lewis; it was a grand time, we all got to see things we'd never seen, experience things we'd never experienced. Best of all we got to do it together.

This was at Burger King in Corvallis, Oregon

These next few are from the rest area we had to stop at after Burger King!

What else would you do with flowers picked by 2 loving little boys.
These next are from a wayside near Seaside where we had to ask for directions.

Now we are looking around the "boardwalk" at the sights in Seaside. Quite a place, to many people for this country girl, but has a beauty even I can appreciate.

We visited the Aquarium; it was a wonderful little journey, to dark for photos, the children got to hold starfish and poke at   Sea Anemones, pick up little crabs and see all kids of strange sea creatures including a wolf eel. The last stop in the aquarium was a visit with the seals.

Next we headed toward town where we had seen a sign for a mall and carousel, on the way we discovered that there had been a bike gathering/show going on. They were in the process of closing down, sad, Randy and I were really the only ones with any interest in these wonderful machines.

We made it to the carousel, Tristyn and Kearstyn loved it, Randy and I loved their smiles, Lewis, yeah he didn't have much fun. It seems that our big boy is very frightened of the movement, I felt sorry for the guy next to Randy and Lew...

We are heading out now; I saw this from the parking lot.

Time to head home, it was a bit foggy out as we rolled along the coastal highway.

The little ones are done for the day. Randy and I took a few to relax, before moving on down the road.
