There are some of these are a little lacking in the painting department, I have all kinds of excuses that I won't give you, the true reason. I got in a hurry and lazy... I screwed up in other words. Enjoy!!!
The Children played a large part in the editing process, nothing was completed with out their approval. A fun time for all.
I was told once a few months ago, by a very good photographer and friend, not to cut off feet when taking photos of folks.Unfortunately I was not able to follow that rule of thumb while trying to follow these little track stars around while they were tossing snowballs and dodging them. I have posted his blog link below for his latest blog. Please give he and his wife a visit they are fantastic photography artists, they have been of much help to me in my attempts at same. That would be Jim Brandano

Beautiful! An unrepeatable moment frozen in time.
ReplyDeleteThank you Fher. we so enjoyed it. Building memories.
Deletei wish to be a child again, best moments of frozen land:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Sancheeta, it was more than a little fun I have to say.
DeleteYou say you screwed up and I'm looking at your photos in amazement...I so wish I had some of your talent.....as for the snow...hmmmmm.. I am in Illinois ..in March...and we should have a foot of snow now.... instead we are in the 80's ...how freakin weird...As always...XOXOXOXOXOXO
ReplyDeleteBongo, if you look at number 10 you can see of what I speak pretty clear. Thank you so much for the encouragement and support. This place having snow in March is odd this much is very weird. Love to you. <3<3<3
DeleteInnocent moments captured for ever, they look adorable.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sulekka, this has been a benefit of the trials I am going through. Such a blessing to see the joy and relaxation on their faces.
DeleteLove the dimensions of the stair one.. lol
ReplyDeleteKeep it up Jan
A
Thank you A. Love the encouragement.
DeleteHello Jan.
ReplyDeleteHope you're doing ok today.
I love these. I don't see where you "screwed up"...these are just great! The children are obviously enjoying themselves and you captured that beautifully. What wonderful moments & memories. Thanks for sharing.
Andy thank you for your concern and kind words, Things are calmer now and will continue to improve as I deny the insanity to dwell in my head and heart.
Deletei am glad you enjoyed the photos, we sure had a lot of fun playing that day. I got smucked twice in the head, lol....
Thank You Jan. I love the images and the treatment. You captured the joy and spontanaty of the moments and that is the most important of rules. Remember nothing is absolute, breaking a few rules can be good lol
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim, I am trying to just capture and worry about composure later when it comes to the children. I favor the candid shots as that is how I want to remember them as they grow into adults. Unfortunately I have broken a few to many rules in the past, lol, now I get leery of doing so.hahaha.
DeleteI liked that photo of that sweeeeeeet flower with surrounding butterflies the most! Thanks for sharing this joy!
ReplyDelete-Portia
Thank you Portia, That photo is my favorite as well, she asked for butterflys and loved with what I came up with.
DeleteLove the pics! I am horrible at keeping feet in photos too. Looks like they had a lot of fun. But, I have to ask....is he wearing medical gloves??? Forget his mittens? I was wondering why there was no snow in MI - cause you have it!
ReplyDeletehahah he is just short of 13 and thought the latex were cool. wouldn't put anything over them. Kearstyn lost hers in the first 5 minutes. Can we say frozen fingers....Thank you Chrystal.
DeleteReal fun...I love the looks of delight on their faces.
ReplyDeleteThank you Janaki, I loved hearing the laughter, so needed for these two little ones...
DeleteOh, Jan, you captured the innocence of children in the fantasy that is snow! You had me cavorting and celebrating with them at every turn. Beautiful and treasured memories here, my friend, blessed and treasured.
ReplyDeleteBlessings always!
Thank you Martha, we all had so much fun and got very wet...lol
DeleteGreat pictures! Looks like they were having tons of fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jessica, we all were.
DeleteThank you Tbaoo, all that you said and more for sure...
ReplyDeleteThis makes me long to experience snow at least once! The children seem to have had so much fun and I love how you've captured that and then let them have a hand in the editing process. It's always wonderful to involve kids in creative stuff...You're pictures, as always are fab.
ReplyDeleteThank you Corinne, I tell ya snow is very cold. We only have a couple days a year of it in a normal year. I wish I could ship it to ya, I am not over fond of it but a lot of people are...
DeleteThank you for the compliments on my photos, the kids are easy for me generally. I will have some up of Lew and Tristyn before weeks end.
