Randy and I started our Christmas Day out with a bunch of negative emotions, worry and disdain. We took naps...then decided to leave our muck, go see some family. We stopped in to see Rebecca, Noah and their 4 kids, no pictures today, (their day wasn't good either). From there we went to my sister's home, her daughter and family were just leaving, it worked out well actually. We had some leftover dinner, visited with people our own age, which we don't get to do often. Randy stepped out on the porch to have a smoke, soon I heard, "Honey, come here." I went and much to my surprise I saw a Bald Eagle up on top of a tree, way up there. I was so excited and felt so blessed, of course I grabbed the camera and clicked as many shots as I could before he took off. The crows were diving him, they were not happy to have him in their territory.
The pictures didn't come out to well as there was no time to set up the tripod, but I played with some software and these are what I got. It was a wonderfully uplifting Christmas gift, did I mention my sister lives in town???
I do not have big lenses, for the distant shots, but I did have fun.
Great pictures Jan,you have captured the moment perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThank you Alpana, at first I was to stunned to think of the camera. I was just enjoying his magnificence and the antics o the angry crows.
