Photos of random items. Some reflecting a mood I am in, others for the shear joy of it. Challenge and persistence in finding that perfect shot, without manipulating the situation is key for me. No lessons here, I don't have the knowledge to teach.
Some of these are certainly not my best work, but I so enjoyed taking them I wanted to share anyway. I hope you enjoy your walk through Delta Pond's Restoration Reserve as much as we did.
Oh, you got some amazing shots here! I especially liked the flowers with insects on them and the photos of the sky with the fluffy clouds. All so gorgeous! Blessings, Jan!
My dear Jan, I hope today finds you and the family well. What a magical place. The turtles made me think of Rachel and Pokey (LOL). I so enjoy seeing the beauty of life through your lens. Just wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
We are doing better everyday thank you Andy, just a very full schedule now that school is out. I have them doing all kinds of things to keep their minds off the trauma that is in their lives. It is a magical place and we saw so much more than I could photograph. It's funny about the turtles, I think of my mom first as she has been collecting turtles as long as I can remember, but Rachel and Pokey are always on my mind the longest when I see the live ones... Thank you so much for your support.
Awww, hugs to Andy (above) and Jan from me & Pokey. :) And, Jan... stop excusing yourself. These are so pretty! Love the cloud trails, the first butterfly, and the caterpillar crawling across the daisy... and several others! xo :)
Rachel, thank you so much, I need to gain some confidence I guess. I just haven't been able to put as much into my work lately, which leaves me a bit insecure about it. The coulds were my very favorite of this batch of photos.
